Monitoring, maintenance, and helpdesk support — so your systems stay secure and your staff stay working. One predictable monthly cost, month-to-month, no long-term lock-in.
Most businesses don't need a full-time IT person — they need reliable systems and someone to call when things go wrong. That's exactly what a DVG Systems managed IT contract delivers.
We monitor your servers, workstations, and network 24/7, handle updates and patches before they cause problems, and give your staff a direct line for support — all at a predictable monthly cost. Combined with our network security, disaster recovery, and virtual CIO services, you get end-to-end protection and strategic guidance.
Contracts are month-to-month with no long-term lock-in. Pricing is based on team size and complexity — contact us for a quote.
The reasons Northern Ontario organisations call us are rarely exotic. They are the same handful of things, over and over.
Staff reach a person who can fix the problem, not a queue. Most issues are resolved in a remote session while they watch, and the ticket is closed when they say it is fixed.
Access, backups and the accounting system are protected before anything changes. Every step is scheduled around your hours with a rollback, and the outgoing provider's undocumented corners are written down as we find them.
We work alongside them: monitoring, security tooling, escalation and projects from us, day-to-day from them. They keep ownership and get documentation back, not a competitor.
One base fee, one bundle per user, and everything else itemised at cost plus a published markup. A quarterly licence review recovers what people who left are still paying for.
Multi-factor authentication, endpoint and identity protection, tested backups and awareness training are in the plan, and we produce the evidence your insurer or funder asks for at renewal.
Band offices, clinics and camps on satellite or wireless links. We design for thin connections, keep the data in the tenant rather than on the laptop, and still show up on site when it matters.

Yes. We coordinate with the outgoing provider where they will cooperate, and work independently where they will not. Access, backups and the accounting system are protected before anything else changes, and every change is scheduled around your working hours with a rollback step. Helpdesk and monitoring typically go live in weeks 2 to 4; the full 120-day onboarding covers hardening, training and tuning.
A C$500 monthly base fee covers helpdesk, remote monitoring and management, documentation, Microsoft 365 administration, the security baseline, awareness training and vCIO planning. Each person you support carries one bundle with their Microsoft 365 licence, endpoint and identity protection, mailbox backup and DNS filtering. Azure, hardware and project work are billed separately. The complete list is on the what's included page.
Both. Some of our clients have an in-house IT lead or technician who keeps the day-to-day and uses us for monitoring, security tooling, escalation and projects. Where you have someone, we work alongside them and hand over documentation, not the other way around.
Managed IT agreements are month-to-month. Microsoft 365 licences inside the user bundle carry their own subscription terms, so licence reductions follow the subscription's commitment and renewal dates rather than taking effect immediately. Your proposal states the term for each subscription.
Ticket intake is 24/7 through the AI assistant, ticketing, a toll-free line and live chat. A human helpdesk works Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET. A critical incident is worked within one hour at any hour, on any day, at no extra charge, and standard tickets within four business hours. We also publish resolution targets: two business days on a high-priority ticket, five on a standard one. Non-critical work you ask us to do outside business hours is billed at C$250 per hour.
No. We serve businesses across Northern Ontario, including Nipigon, Marathon, Timmins, Kirkland Lake, Matheson, and remote or multi-site operations. Most support is delivered remotely, so distance from the city does not change how quickly we can help.
